Congratulations – Ladies’ Champions

The ladies have just completed their three rounds of Championships with the final round played in perfect golfing conditions yesterday.

After the first round Louise Watach was well clear in A grade with a lovely score of 77 off the stick. Barbara Yee was holding B grade, Dawn Taylor C Grade and Joan Eudey well clear in D Grade.
Back for a 2nd round and changes occurred in B grade with great scores of 89 by Faye Knight and Jane Hirst, and others just behind making this a very close contest for week 3. Dawn and Joan maintaining their leads in C and D Grades.

Final round scores proved the course was playing harder with pin placements by far the hardest. Thank you to the course maintenance crew for their work. Several players had a great 3rd round but as often the case left it too late!

Congratulations to all the triumphant champions who are well deserving of their respective winning scores after all rounds completed.
