Club Update – 03/04/20

To Queen Park Golf Club Inc Members

I am writing to you on behalf of the Queens Park Golf Club Committees to keep you up to date on what’s happening to prepare the Club for our return to play in the future. We do not know when we will be able to resume play and competitions but will keep members informed on recent communications and other developments.

The Committees are continuing to work together to undertake planned work – where possible – and to ensure our Club’s return to operations works smoothly. As you would expect, we are developing financial modelling to monitor the impact of reduced income and fixed expenses for the Club through and beyond this current crisis.  

Our meetings will be conducted remotely via Zoom or phone. Members will be updated regularly about important matters as we make decisions via email, our website and our Facebook group. To support our efforts to communicate safely with Members, can you please share communication with those who are not connected to email or the web. If members do have an email address but have not provided it to the Club, I encourage them to please update their details via our website: queensparkgolfclub.com/members-area/update-my-contact-details/.  Facebook users are encouraged to join our Queens Park Golf Club Group to receive the latest news. Keep watching our website too.

In the meantime, and on a personal note, look after yourselves and your families, loved ones and fellow Members, particularly those who are elderly and vulnerable. I urge each of you to take the COVID-19 precautions, protocols and directives seriously.
