A lovely little opening challenge lies ahead.

A hole that dog - legs off to the left and is steeply uphill for its final 100m. A layup to the base of the hill with an iron or hybrid is usually the best option, making sure that you keep to the right hand side of the fairway to open up the approach to the green.

Fairway left will bring trees into play, making the approach much more difficult. Fortune may follow the brave for those longer hitters wanting the green off the tee. The path is over the trees on the left. With the green shaped liked an inverted bowl on the front half and right side, with steep downward slopes from the edge of the green. It's important that any approach is advanced at least 2m on from the edges, otherwise the ball may end up back at your feet
