Celebrating 70 years of Women's Golf at Queen's Park

So much has changed since those early years, and we celebrated with gratitude for the foundations laid by those pioneer women. Pauline and Colleen led us into our celebrations in their dress of yesteryear, with Pauline recalling some earlier notes from meeting minutes, and the ongoing role women have played in our Club up until the present. Members were adorning medals they had received either through playing golf or other interests. Our life members Pat, Lois, Rita, Louise and Sue were invited to cut the cake. Amid much chatter and story telling, a slide show presentation brought back many memories. It was lovely to celebrate with past and present players.
